History
On November 18, 1968, the business was founded under Adhunik Rollers Pvt. Ltd. Its registered office is located at 1, Crooked Lane, Kolkata, 700 001 West Bengal. In March 2003, the company renamed itself MSP Steel & Power Private Limited. Later, on September 9, 2003, the business changed its name to MSP Steel & Power Limited and became public.
Products
Before this, the business produced Katha, an ingredient used to make ready-made betals. Sponge irons, mild steel billets, industrial oxygen, building bars, and ferroalloy are among the steel goods offered by the company. In Raigarh, MSP Steel also has a 32-megawatt power plant.
Wood is the primary raw material used to make katha, and because it is so scarce, katha production has been halted. Currently, the company manufactures sponge iron and engages in a small amount of trading in oxygen cylinders, MS rods, and other steel goods.
