It ranked first in the world for vehicle interiors and pollution control technology in 2022 and the seventh-largest foreign maker of automotive parts worldwide. About one in two cars had a Faurecia system installed.

In 1998, Bertrand Faure and ECIA, two suppliers of automobile components, founded Faurecia. It creates and produces seats, exhaust systems, center consoles, door panels, dashboards, acoustic modules, and other interior and exterior vehicle decor (wood, aluminum).

Faurecia aims to create cutting-edge, tailored, safe, and sustainable mobility technologies. Faurecia is a top ten worldwide automobile supplier with 111,000 workers across 33 countries. Its four business groups—Electronics, Clean movement, Interiors, and Seating—inspire movement. Faurecia also provides solutions consistent with their convictions and values to address the issues of future generations.

Faurecia’s customers

Faurecia’s customers include the Volkswagen Group, Stellantis, Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi, Ford, BMW, General Motors, Toyota, Daimler, Tesla, Inc., Hyundai-Kia, Jaguar Land Rover and BYD. Eight thousand three hundred engineers and technicians work at Faurecia. With 403 patents registered in 2017, the corporation has over 300 production facilities, 35 R&D centers, and operations in 37 countries globally. Approximately 50% of these locations are just-in-time production factories. Faurecia joined the United Nations Global Compact in 2004.
