History
Mr. Amit Mittal founded A2Z in 2002. The organization began by managing facilities and keeping up telecom towers for Vodafone India and Reliance. 2008 saw its entry into the procurement, engineering, and construction (EPC) contracting industry. The EPC industry grew with the purchase and merger of Sri Eswara Sai Construction Private Limited, a transmission line installation company, in January 2008.
By a court-approved demerger plan, A2Z later moved its FMS operation to its fully owned subsidiary, A2Z Infraservices, in the same year. A2Z purchased Imatek from the same FMS industry in August 2009. A2Z’s EPC division agreed in May 2010 to acquire Surendra Choudhary & Brothers, a partnership that built electrical substations and completed railway electrification projects in its entirety.
