History
The company was first incorporated on February 14, 1985, as a private limited company, then on October 11, it changed its status to a public limited company. The business and Nippondenso Co. Ltd., Japan (Nippondenso) signed a technical partnership agreement so that the latter could provide technical information needed for the project’s execution and the production of automobile air conditioners. To create car air conditioning systems and other equipment, the Company and Denso Corporation Japan established a joint venture in India in 2010. In 2013, Subros introduced Transport Refrigeration Systems and won the Economics Times Gold Award for Excellence in Indian Manufacturing.
Operations
From its inception in 1985, when it could only produce 15,000 air conditioners, mostly through assembly, the company has expanded to become India’s largest and sole integrated auto air conditioning manufacturing facility.
Along with a well-equipped R&D Center and Tool Room in Noida, Subros has production facilities with an annual capacity of 1.5 million AC Kits in Nalagarh, Noida, Pune, Manesar, Chennai, and Karsanpura.
Products
Compressors, condensers, heat exchangers, and all other connecting parts needed to finish an AC loop are produced by Subros, which serves a variety of markets, including trucks, buses, off-roaders, passenger cars, refrigeration transport, domestic air conditioners, and railroads.
